I realize the potential for trouble here, I was simply looking to observe the need to upgrade at this point. I will be switching to the stock T3 soon, and then to upgrade that at a later date. A downpipe will be custom fabricated once I settle on wastegate design. My stock 2.0 head is pretty much beat, so the 2.3 (rebuilt, deburred) will go on soon as well. Until then, the boost remains below 20psi for longevity purposes. I run the injectors with the 2.8bar as I can't get them to idle properly with the 3.

I take issue with APC as old engines like mine make a lot of noises that set off a knock sensor. I intend to dyno tune the engine for power once I have installed said upgrades. A dual stage boost controller will be used with a conservative setting (say, 13 psi) for around town tranny conservation, and a "lose the musclecar" setting for the described purpose. If my power goals are out of reach with the current fuel/H20 system setup, I intend to install additional injectors and equipment to control them. I also look to simplify this operation, so the omission of APC/related components is favorable. Too many variables with this system to maintain consistency, and boost response with a dedicated boost controller is so much quicker.

I appreciate your concern. I have found out what I wanted to know and such clandestine behavior will only continue once proper engine safety measures have been instated.
