kevin thanks sooo much for taking the time to drop me these links Ill definatly look into these alternatives
what Im saying here isent to poo poo these ideas just to explain & give others as well

both of which will increase flow & allow for more air measurement but first let me explain for others who read this why it is so important to be able to measure larger volumes of air
say a speedparts chip in 2.2 or 2.4 LH to begin with
in my car I hit 5V amm return at like 2800 RPM do since we are talking a 2D map with a range of injector on times per each of 16 inetrvals on the RPM D by toping out the amm V so erly we end up with a 1Dmap working only at the widest injector on time out of 16 points on the AMMD
so with the stock saab ECU that was in my car I was getting 97% injector on time by 3600ish RPM well before the highest point of torque which with my setup is about 4Krpm
so one could run HUGE injectors on the planet & what ever fuel pressure you want you still have a piss poor fuel map
what a speedparts chip does is change the values on the top of the RPMD so at 5V AMM in at 3500 rpm we might have 75%on time instead of stock 97% than making the 97%later in the rpm range
this is still a 1Dmap at this point it cant know weather or not you have backed out of the throttle & make subtle changes for say when you get back into it & the turbo spools back up so these chips have there limitations as well
one needs the fuel curve to follow the air curve which is steepest ramp up to the point of highest volumetric efeciency (highest torque) usualy after that increased demand for fuel tapers quite a bit
this is why the crazy erly 97% injector on time I recorded
for me the volvo stuff I put in allows me to measure air for about another 1Krpm & moves my 97% injector on time up to I think about 4500rpm soI like my volvo 2.2LH because I keep a 2Dmap programed to drive large 31 lb hr injectors but still have the stupid 6200RPM revlimit :-(
so all that said
one could either bleed air between the AMM & turbo or stick the guts from the AMM into a bigger pipe this was done by several performance LH gurus back in the day & is mentioned in the book fundamentals of bosch FI & engine management (the blue bible)
I will have a prom burner here this week m learning hexadecimal & with the help of a friend I will learn to reprogram eproms to deal with the new AMM values & for my car a 7Krpm revlimit so I can make use of a .63 turbine housing & ford swingate housing & HUGE intercooler so I can make more hp at lower boost levels
kevin thanks again your input is allwais valued by me & you have helped me out with CORECT info on many occaision
I sold my RRFPR & accel #30 at SOC I now have the corect resister pack & low impedance 31 LB hr injs fixed fpr WAY BETTER
take care
JAK
