If you feed the MBC from the turbo compressor housing hose barb, the pressure is controlled at that hose barb. The pressure at the TB will be that less the pressure drops across the IC and ducts etc. At higher CFM's those pressure drosp do increase and the torque drops off.
If the MBC is fed from the TB above the throttle place, or from the intake manifold, then the pressure at that point is controlled, until the capacity of the turbo is exceeded.
If you notice that boost droop, something can be done about it. I have read on this BB that such a boost drop has been considered a feature. Perhaps with thoughts about the GB in mind. The clutch does not care.
If you were to move the MBC pressure tap, pressure overshoots would increase. Those can be eliminated by a MBC+A, where the +A is an anticipator, implemented by a small air pressure regulator (APR).
There might be a concern with the DB with full boost in the lower gears. Perhaps some others can address this issue.
