it does not solve the problem of air to both like a v-mount would. The v-mount has the advantage of better cooling with less radiator, which means less mass in one of the places you least want it. A vent in the hood above the IC is in a low pressure area, which coupled with the airflow entering the nose moves a lot of air across the IC. This cannot be said for a typical front mount.
As there are thousands of different cars out there, I hope to go radiator measuring (as the weather allows) in junkyards to see if anything would work. A properly sized radiator would allow me to keep the turbo in the stock location. I would simply have to mount it, find a pusher fan (no room behind rad anymore), have my IC endtanks modified, and come up with some piping (easy). Oh yeah, and not fail out of school because my head is under my hood too often!
Good luck,
Andy
