RE: 2000 9-3 SE 44k

First things first, this was a messy mixing job. I should have poked a hole in the metal cans to vent the fluid as it was poured out to smooth out the pour stream (instead of sloshing all over). I also used a 1qt glass measuring cup for the mixing (mixed .5 gal of 50:50) which I felt better about than using the plastic container. I will also need to get a funnel to better facilitate pouring from the glass cup into the gas can, which worked great for dispensing into the 9-3 tank. Messy, messy, messy job, but I had to do it once to learn this stuff. I maybe lost a couple ounces judging by the whole mess I made. Also, I don't have any sources of spark or heat in my garage in Kansas City, so I feel comfortable storing the stuff in my garage (along with yard tool gas cans, etc.).

Drove the car for 30 miles last night after filling with .5 gal of mix and 13.71 gal of 92 octane from BP Amoco in Mission, KS. Didn't really notice much of a difference except MAYBE smoother shifting. This morning I noticed it was VERY responsive -- peppy. None of the usual slight hesitation that is normal 1st thing in the morning. It took off very smoothly.

I'll update you with more after I've driven it a bit more, but so far there has been no DRAMATIC difference, other than the eliminated hesitation first thing in the morning.
