Hi Ben, your earlier 9000T uses a different FPR than the configuration the 2.8 comes in. The 0 280 160 264 (2.8) is a high performance European regulator that also came in the no longer available Saab tuning kits for the '85 up C-900T's however they will fit an '88 through '90 9000T. Your 0 280 160 257 2.5 bar regulator plugs into the fuel rail rather than having a thread on fitting like other typical Saab FPR's. A non-turbo 0 280 160 258 3 bar regulator of the same year is a direct bolt on upgrade for your car. Is there a particular reason you were looking for a 2.8, with up to 24# injectors a 3 bar will be fine. By the way if it makes you feel any better Bosch raised their price $20 on the 264's but the 258's are still the same, we sell them for $59. Hope this helps, Dave
