Leaky Exhaust Sure Helps :)

I have a leak in my stock exhaust system, and am delighted. The extra power is definitely noticable, although so is the noise. I'm thinking of installing some kind of sport exhaust to preserve the gains. Perhaps someone with experience with sport or straight-thru exhaust systems would be kind enough to answer these questions. Thanks!
1. Will a sport exhaust be noisier than the leaky system I have now? I ask because I really don't want the car to be offensively loud, and think this level of noise is okay.
2. Is there an "official" SAAB sport exhaust that I can buy, or, if not, some truly standout aftermarket system? I want to get it right but would love to keep it all-Saab, as I have done with the rest of the car.
3. Is there anything else I would need to do to the car to make sure that what I gain from a sport exhaust is not offset by harm caused in another area? What I mean here is that sometimes upgrading one part of a system stresses other parts of the system; I don't want to do anything that could hurt this car!
Thanks to all for their opinions on this.
