The BPV is open when off the throttle. So the BPV discharge becomes an air intake. One needs to block reverse flow, or put a filter on the discharge port.
After a run and when shifting, the air in the works expands, in your case by around 2:1. That will drop its temperature a lot. In any case, the engine removes air from the system very quickly. So by the time you get back on the throttle, things will be flushed. However, the IC by this time is hot or totally heat soaked, and this will heat the air before you get back on boost, and when back on boost things are naturally hot again.
I don't think the gains, temperature wise, will be significant. You can put a tiny K&N type filter on the BPV discharge, or a one way valve. But note, that a PBV discharge filter will allow some hot air from the engine bay to be taken up until the BPV closed. The PBV discharge through a tiny filter will create quite high velocities. I wonder if these bursts of air might damage the effectivenss of the filter for intake flow.
In stock trim, when the BPV opens, the air expands and there is a reverse flow out of the air box. That filter also sees a reverse flow, but with its large area, the velocities are much lower. Now for a T7, the MAF will register a flow spike during this discharge and the ECU needs to know not to map fuel to this reverse air flow. Monitoring of the MAP and throttle inputs and real throttle setting will be signals to the ECU to not map fuel to this reverse MAF signal. Perhaps the system simply reverts to a speed-density (T5) mode at that time.
