too big give it to me :-) jk Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Wed, 26 Nov 2003 08:17:04 In Reply to: no such thing, davenew, Tue, 25 Nov 2003 13:43:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
also if you have more volume in the IC it can act like an acumulator storing pressure so then the throttle is re opened after a shift there is quick available air there
brad at georges imports was telling me that they use a BOV & a rediculously large IC on a race car they have & explained this to meit seems like good theory
there is a slight delay factor rith AMM cars as the signal from the AMM is dealyed a bit but the signal Im sure comes up quick enough (its not like at 18 LBS boost after a shift with your foot in it that airflow at the AMM will be low
less pressure drop keeping good eficiency will be a huge improvment
that is a mighty huge IC though :-)
I also think that the more you do to your car to improve overall flow the better you will take advantage of this IC
if I could fit something that big in the SPG I sureley would:-)
take care
