Heya,

I just had Brad's 3" stainless steel split-wastegate TE05 downpipe installed on my 90 SPG with TE05 big16g turbo.

Even though I couldn't push the car as hard as I would have liked to for testing (some engine troubles -- will be fixed this coming week) it makes the car feel totally different with the limits that I pushed it to. I told Brad, it doesn't feel like a SAAB anymore... but in a good way! It just feels like it's willing to flow more without hesitation, instead of fighting against you to flow the exhaust gases out of the cylinder head, it does it at ease. It pulls from off the line to redline smoothly, without the power coming on as abrubtly as usual. Very linear. Also - the fitment is amazing. It fits perfectly, with even room around it underneath the car, on all sides. I had the pipe met to my highflow 2.5" cat, but Brad offers a test pipe to go cat-less if you desire. I would have, but my cat back is custom, so no need for the extra flanges, etc. Once I have these engine problems worked out, I'll be able to fully test out the pipe at higher RPM, where I'm sure it will shine.

The peice itself is a highly thought out peice of engineering. Quite impressive, all stainless contruction. I had to sit and stare at it for 3 days before I had it installed, and I couldn't keep my hands off of it. There are two pipes, the wastegate pipe is 1" and the other is 2", joined together in a 3" pipe. It doesn't require the battery to be relocated, and still keeps all the bends just as smooth, or smoother than some of the 3" single pipe designs that require battery relocation. My battery was already in the trunk, so I can't tell you how much extra room their actually is.

I wish I could post the pictures of the pipe installed in my car, but I left my digital camera cable back down in GA at school, so it won't be until January when I can upload.

Anyway, there's my mini review.
Definatly worth checking out, especially with Brad's 20% off Christmas discount, you can't turn it down. Check it out in TSN classifieds.
