100$ is about right. make sure you take a gasket with you so they can set the cut properly. for stock gaskets i like to put the o-ring so that the outer edge is in center of gasket seal ring. for stock gaskets i'd use a copper ring. it deforms nicely but puts that high pressure clamp zone there as well. wire is usually .040. for ss wire/stock gasket prolly .005-7 over, copper .008 - .010. for copper gasket about .012-.013. copper gasket can be a pain and o-ringing is a requirement to keep the gasket from creeping under load. mine has sealed for 25k miles or so but it took two attempts. second with o-ring. unless you have some serious c/r mods to do or resetting your head height on your favorite ported and milled to the max head, a copper gasket is a bit of a hassle. it seals compression great but sealing water and oil are not as easy. as long as the block is square ( which most saab blocks are) you are fine. the head though wants to be square and you have to torque them down very slowly to ensure that head is not stressed over the wire riser. etc......
