I used to be kind of a ricer a couple of years ago, but not as far as most of the kids in my lo-cal. I am far more knowledgeable about cars than anyone thinks I am. Fast and the Furious, and 2F2F is all a load of crap. In the first one, the car is a n/a model with a cold air intake, yet they claim it has a T4 and a cold air...anybody ever heard of a cold air intake with a turbo? They sure as heck werent talking about the intercooler because it didnt have one. If you know anything about the different models of Eclipses, you can see clearly when they pop the hood that it has the 420A motor, and not the 4G63 which comes in turbo'd Eclipses. You can buy a Hahn Racecraft turbo kit for those engines, but for the $3500 you can spend on that, its not even worth the 50 extra HP, and the engine can't handle more than 220 on stock internals, the 4G63 on the other hand has been proven to hold up to about 550 wheel hp on a AWD dyno. This really wasn't supposed to turn into a rant about The Fast and the Furious, but I guess I just had to get it out. Also, if you watch the movie again, try to notice the drum brake covers on the rear brakes to make them look like disc's. Only the turbo models came with rear disc brakes, and that car clearly doesnt have disc's.

See ya,
Bill
