Like Dean said, it's variable, but it's whatever boost is necessary in order to achieve the torque spec. Up to a point. On T7 cars, that point was 20 psi on Viggens and Aeros. You'd think it would be less on the lower models, since they had different turbos which presumably don't have the same compressor maps as the faster cars.
I am curious if anyone knows what the max boost pressure a 2003 Linear's turbo can do. That would answer the question as to how much torque one could get at sea level (if the fueling etc were right too).
