Id say #30s will suport about 260ish crank HP I think brad may have gotten a bit more & kept good AFs hopefuly he will pipe in
the problem with running larger than #30s is that the ECU isent mapped to drive them & with a stock ECU #30s are about as big as you want to go
what happens with a stock ECU is that it hits almost 100% injector on time to erly in the RPMS (in my car 3500 RPM) the problem with this is that to make more HP you need to have your torque happen at a higher RPM in the case of my car just over 4Krpm the engines demand for fuel ramps up to the point of highest torque (volumetric eficiency) & than pretty much levels off after that so to make more HP you have to run realy rich before highest torque which makes spool up slugish & robs power in order to be anywhere near on the money where it counts in the RPM range(depending on your goals)
I run a volvo ECU AMM & stock #31 injectors which all are mapped to work with a larger engine (2.3) the fuel maps arent ideal in this ECU either for our aplication but it is an improvment
all that said get your #30s you may be able to split a set of 8 with someone ford motorsports are rated at 2.7 bar so get like #27s they will be about #29 at 3bar run a resister in the AMM return ( about 300 OHM in the orange wire ) & get a bigger turbo & put a mitsu eclipse IC in the stock location, big exhaust, deal with your vacum advance retard & you should be able to suport 20 PSI BOOST! & make pretty good HP at least 220 WHP prolly no more than 230WHP the C900 trans has about 20% power drop so add 20% to the WHP to get crank HP
hopefuly brad will pipe in on this
after that its all about much bigger injectors fat cylinder head & non stock engine management (modded ECU or stand alone) to get above that point & at some point you can run out of gas like me :-)
the link is a dyno sheet on my car at SOC
Ive made improvments since then
take care
& welcome to boost adiction :-)
