...use water injection if you have the extra cash kicking around. It will cool the intake charge dramatically and 'allow you to get more with what you already have'. It is a great system that can be used to counter detonation, but it also great even if you're not knocking. Cooler, more dense air gives more horsepower. This is exactly what water injection does. Cools the air entering your engine.
If you want to test the idea, go put your turbo needle in the red for about 10 minutes, pull over, pop the hood and touch the intake pipe and intake manifold. Pretty warm. Then try it once you have water injection installed, big difference. It's like winter all year round.
