About the front sway bar: Saabine came ex-factory without sway bars and the first thing I did was upgrade springs and dampers. I found that compared with T16S models of friends there wasn't any more body roll. Then I added the rear sway bar and it definitely helped with the fore-aft balance while having no real impact on body roll. Traction out of bends is in a different league to 900's with their front sway bars in place, especially in the wet. TBH - I would not like any less body lean at all; it's much easier now to get a feel for what the car is up to when steering into a corner.
Personally, I would go to brandy new stock SPG springs/dampers (an old friend of mine has running in autoX like that on her 87 900T for years and it did not have any repercussions for classification) and remove front bar. Then play with alignment by adding neg camber and positive castor at the front and reduce toe in to the smallest amount that can be dialled in without it being zero, as per gorper/jak's postings.
