2001 9-3 base brake upgrade question

I'm interested in upgrading my 2001 9-3 front brakes to the Viggen 308 mm set up. I presently have the 280 mm rotors on the front.
I understand that the rotors, calipers, backing plate (dust shield), and pads all need to be changed to the Viggen spec parts.
My quesiton to those who have done this upgrade is:
Do you have to upgrade to the Viggen master cylinder or can you use the stock S/SE master cylinder? I already am aware that the 15" wheels won't work with the 308mm rotors. Can the stock master cylinder supply enough fluid volume to operate the pistons on the Viggen calipers?
I've done similar upgrades to my past vehicles (including my 1994 SHO 10.9" swap to 1996 Lincoln Continental 11.6" front brakes). I was very happy with the results on my past car and have never been thrilled with the braking performance on my 9-3. The Continental upgrade only required caliper brackets, pads, and rotors, I used the same brake calipers.
