Well a stiffer suspension should help you out. Stiffer springs would do the trick...but ride quality would suffer too much, you really want the shocks to be stiff enough to match springs. A typical sports suspension may make the car start out lower than 3 inches, but will compress less under weight. If you put in a stiffer suspenion and you still have rubbing problems, you can add a spacer to bring the ride height back up. You will still benefit from the suspension in terms of handling, though not quite as much since the ride height will not be lowered.
