Hello all,
Been searching the posts and there seems to be two places that you can ground an A/F ratio gauge to.
One place (as recommended by Jeff C) is to ground to the cylinder head ground, near the AIC valve. Because this is where the O2 sensor ground goes.
Another place I read, was to ground to the ECU ground.
Right now the ground is on the cylinder head and it's reading extremely rich. Might be because it is running rich, or could be the ground. I switch the ground today from the interior, where it read slightly lean earlier today, then I switched to the cylinder head to get the rich results.
The grounding point is critical for correct measurement, but, I'd like to know where to correct point is. If the cylinder head is the right spot, I have to start looking into why I am 2 bars rich at idle.
Thank you!
Taylor
