That's why I never go flat-out for top speed. If I stayed in it at pocono, I could probably hit 130 at the turn for the infield. I'm usually doign about 110, that's fast enough. This was my first time at pocono with the vig. I couldn't believe the lateral forces I was getting on the banking, I could hardly get to the shifter to hit 5th. I'm thinking it's because the viggen builds speed alot faster than my old GTI-VR6. With the GTI I could hit 110 at the end of the superspeedway, the vig hit that in the middle (on the curved part).
I think I scared the bejezus out of folks with my wailing pirelli rossos, the things were squealing like a stuck pig. Usually when you hear tires squealing, someone is in a spin. I can't wait to get my Azenis' mounted, I recommend strongly against the Rossos, they only lasted about 500 miles, and they are squirlly as hell under power.
Steve's car looks good on the corners, I could see the rear end rotating nicely, especially on the banked high-speed section (I was behind him alot). We met some cool folks, most were impressed by our saabs, especially their ability to accelerate. I was having trouble hooking up going onto the speedway section, but once I got the car strait it took off.
