Hey Jeff,

I have the Mitsu downpipe from Brad, and I believe the G9 peice is almost identical. Dave was telling me they improved the secondary 'flapper' pipe by using larger diameter piping, so it will flow better. I was unaware that the Garrett turbos can utilize the split downpipe, I thought it was only a Mitsu thing? Either way, Brad's pipe is on my car, and immediatly after having my 2.5" stainless steel single tube downpipe removed and the new one installed, you could tell an immediate difference. It was a noticeable gain even over a performance downpipe. The top end breathes much easier. That C900 'asthma' feeling is gone, it doesn't feel like you're forcing the engine to go above 3 or 4K RPM, now it revs to redline nice and smoothly. I bet with your SD cams you'll even see a better, smoother pull to redline in your car.
