Howdy Terry,
I'm not trying to butt into anyones "sweet spot" here, but i am also unemployed right now, as i just recently graduated from college. When i went to jak's shop in NC, i honestly asking HIM a few times about the possibility of working for HIM down there, but nothing ever came of it. Actually he's got things very much under control down there anyways! ;)
BUT, with the degrees i have from college, studio recording and show production and touring, i'm really going to have to move to a larger city area to be able to find the kind of work that i'd like to do. THe chicago aera is famous for it's studio work for recording COMMERICIALS, for either television or radio, and lots of advertising companies to work for...
i don't know i'm just taking WICKED shots in the dark here.... if i started working for engstrom with you, or whatever, helping out with stuff... i'd eventually find other local work.... but finding jobs in my aera is tough, and i'd want a sure thing like the engstrom job ready for me before i packed up and moved to chicago without any work contacts out there...
i don't know...
i'm crazy
