I'm gasket matching my head (2.1L), and I was wondering if I should do the exhaust ports as well as the intake. I'm leaning towards not doing it, but I can't decide which method would be better for the least turbo lag. Here's my dilemna:
smaller ports=higher exhaust gas velocities=less lag
bigger ports=higher flow=more top-end boost(?)
Flow would be limited by valve size, though, so there would be a point where I would need to get larger valves to increase flow to the turbo. Which should I do? Thanks!
