the idle controll wiring just to be clear Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Mon, 15 Nov 2004 13:44:07 In Reply to: 3 if using Volvo wiring, gorper, Sun, 14 Nov 2004 13:05:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
the center wire that has to be run on the idle controll motor dosent go to ground it runs off of the keyed hot to the injectors the grounding is what the ECU does to controll the injectors so the resister pack gets the fat positive wire that powers the injectors as an input than the 4 output wires that come from the resister pack go to each injector, it dosent matter which
what you do for the idle controll is branch off of the input to the resister pack & run power to the middle wire on the idle controller to bypass the resister because the idle controler was designed to run on full system voltage in the stock harness 5 wires branch off of the power side to the injectors one for each injector & one to the idle controller it is grounded on either side to open or close the valve
& the volvo setup will suport much more than stock boost with the 3barfpr because the injectors are 50% larger than the stock units on the saab the ECU & AMM are mapped to drive them although the ECU isent realy mapped for a 2 litre this setup in my opinion is hands down better than a RRFPR & #30s even stock
