Talon IC in my 85 900t

I got the IC from ebay and the pipes from Jak. The install was somewhat tricky because the orientation of the input and output pipes on the IC isn't the easiest to work with. There's also a size difference between jak's 2.5" pipes and the 1.75" pipes on the IC. If you have a hacksaw and a selection of rubber couplers handy you should be able to get it to work for you. The IC doesn't really sit in the stock location. Mine is tilted to one side and also at an angle. One end is sitting on my lower radiator hose.
Despite the less than perfect fit of the IC, the improvement in flow is enormous. There is much less turbo lag and the boost appears to be almost effortless for the engine. There also seems to be much more power off-boost because the airflow is less restricted.
My previous set-up was the late model 10 row saab intercooler with an ic fan (always on) along with the post '87 aluminum pipes. I have not yet hooked-up the fan to the talon IC.
