Seriously, these cars can be real performers or real slowpokes, depending on if they've been tuned up! When I first got the 87 cvt, i thought it was pretty quick, max boost was 1/3 to mid-yellow i think. But when I put in good spark plugs (at the right gap), new wires, correct timing, and fixed vaccuum leaks it was like a whole new car. Honestly, it probably did as much good as tweaking the apc! (I know that's a 'duh' answer but oh well haha)
