Every now and then over the last 3 years I have posted this message and never have recieved a good answer. I want the taller primary drive gear gear set with the larger gear with 33 teeth and smaller with 24. This was only installed by the factory on non turbo euro spec 900's from what I have been told. First I know this is not easy to find in the US but I am amazed that more people don't want these. I drive a lot of freeway miles in my nicely modded 89'SPG and I am doing 3600RPM at 85MPG that is TOO high for noise and gas millage. I reallize that it will take a bit of performance out of the car but my feeling that is why there are 5 gears..just shift down if you want. Plus I guess my car makes around 200-220HP so it will still be plenty fast with the .72 gears. Anyway I think all the performance parts companys like Group9, or sweedish d, etc should make these gears in higher ratios, I am sure there is a market for them...
either way anyone know where I can find a set...I want to cruise at 90 and not feel like I am near the red line!!
