Jeff,

No need to start two threads asking the same question twice. You got the same answers in the other thread but just in case here's more detail. Here's what I did with my '04 9-3SS Aero:

Sportfilter:

Software upgrade:
http://engstrom.net/cgi-bin/SoftCart.100.exe/scstore/p-PPC_SAAB.html?L+scstore+lnwl8846ff2ad62a+1114026255

Of course I bought the software for the 2.0T whereas you need the software for the 2.0t. There is a vendor in the UK that got it to me fairly quickly but I'm not sure I can post a link here. Send me email and I'll direct you right to it. The cost is roughly the same though I think it ended up being about $8 cheaper shipped to me from the UK. You will like this or any software that increases torque.

The filter is where you should start as it's only about $55-$60 shipped. It will at the very least make your car sound better and may help performance a small bit. It's also something that should be done if you're going to increase a/f through software.

You will not find software as cheap for SAABs as you do for other makes due to the fact that there aren't nearly as many customers tuning these cars as there are tuning other cars, and the folks doing the work have to make a living.

Once you've done those two (not that BSR is the only way to go software-wise) you could look at a free flow cat-back exhaust, or even a larger downpipe from the turbo, but when you say you're on a budget I'd assume things like that are a bit further down the line. If the software is beyond your budget do the exhaust and filter until you can afford the software (it may get cheaper over time).

Hope this helps,

John
