Did this "fault" occur after a new HW part istallation, lika your new IC?
If so, might be wort to give it a try it the old HW configuration.

To measure MAF is not a prbolem, but you need to be careful before you jump to conclusion because it is hard to say wheater you're looking at the concequence rather than the cause.

Usually if a MAF is sami bad, it will read less and the singnal will be "noisy" under WOT. Have a look at the attached graph for further detail. In this case the MAF measured terrible wrong = much much less what the actual air mass flow was. What I did to test if the MAF was faulty was to borrow a MAF from my friend and measure the air mass flow right after the istallation prior Trionic had the change to "adapt". In the picture red indicates the "broken" MAF and blue the healthy one.

Looking at the picture more closely we will see that with the old MAF everything seems to be about in oder in the low and mid range 2000-4000rpm (values are about what is programmed into the ECU.) In the high end though, signal gets "noisy" and fall short from the request
Now lets look at the new MAF curve (blue) we see a huge over shoot in the beginning of the run, why? This is caused by the fact that MAF is trionics primary sensor and it will fuel based on that signal. If there is deviation one way or the other lambda loop will correct the fueling to some degree but it will this "believe" that the measurement is correct. So during the first run "wastegate mapping" is exact the same as it was with the old MAF. Difference in these signals does show how much the old MAF did infact measure wrong.

And why does the curve drop rapidly? Trionic pushes the "panic" buttom once airmass target has been shot over big time, so you wont see the difference through out the rpm range.

In high rpms, there is no noise and values are about where they should be. After few pulls the bump from the low register is gone, once trionic has turbo control back in order.

Also have a look into you timing values and engine load under a WOT acceleration. With OBD plot only two sensors at a time to get a better refresh rate. If possible plot the following, while car locked in third gear from 2000-6000rpm
rpm and airmass
rpm and timing
rpm and engine load.
