Just installed the MP intercooler on my 02 Viggen yesterday and dyno the car yesterday evening. The MP IC does not show the real merits of its gain on the DynoJet dyno due to lack of real airflow however you know the cooler is doing its job even on the dyno. When dynoing the car with the stock unit hp and torque dropped 9-11hp and 8-9lb ft of torque after two full pulls. With the MP intercooler the hp drop was only 1.8hp after 4 hard runs. On another note the MP 3" turbo downpipe with stock exhaust and intercooler picked up 18hp to the wheels at peak and 21-23hp to the wheels from 5200rpm - 6400rpm. Torque also rose 10 at peak and as much as 19lb ft from 4000rpm to 5200rpm. All in all the parts made power above the stock components from 2500rpm until 6400rpm. Oh yes this is a California car running 91 octane fuel. The dyno operater said with better fuel 5-6hp are in the car. Way to go MP.
