Is it misfire or fuel cutoff? If it acceleratees well, cuts out, immediately accelerates, cuts out etc with no other unusual noises it is more likely the fuel cutout. You might also check the BPC, they are known to stick, but as I recall, they show low boost symptoms.
If it is fuel cut off, check the wastegate. The rubber hose that goes from the turbo to the wastegate may be cracked / disconnected. One symptom of the hose being diconnected is that your "turbo whine" will be louder than usual.
What happens is the wastegate doesn't function at all when this happens. When the controller sees the boost spike it kills the fuel. I had this problem with my 9K LPT over the weekend. unfortunately you cannot see the hose where it attaches to the turbo from above. However, with ramps you don't have to remove any of the covers underneath
