I haven't been able to get many of the links/scripts or whatever to work. I've tried both Firefox and IE. Anybody else having this trouble?
The rest of these remarks are comments, not criticism or debate. I perceive it as not just big v. little (although I don't see myself buying a GM/Saab any time soon).
As I remember from when my wife studied marketing, consumers supporting particular suppliers is called "ethical shopping." The trouble with the Saab market seems to me to be that it's not a large market. How many C900 convertibles were made -- 10,000 over 6 - 7 years? How many owners want to upgrade a 10 to 20 year old car? Many on this list, but the total isn't that large, which makes it hard for the 2, 3, 6 or however many specialty suppliers there are to invest in R&D. Are there more Hondas sold in a year than all C900s combined?
By the way, I've been patient with Group 9 on some parts, because I appreciate the nature of the business (having wrenched while I was in college) and am now trying to get some other parts from another supplier active on this list.
