Mark..Thanks for the reply!! We use the usual stuff from Jack Lawrence at MSS. The race cam,Double springs. I have always adjusted the valves at .014 int and .016 exhaust. We race a 3/8 mile dirt oval and run in 2nd gear only. I presently have (31/26 turbo) chains in the Gbox. this gives us(normally) about the mid 7000 Rpm range under most race conditions. we do occasionally hit 8000 (8100 once) WOW!!! i replaced the springs about 6 races ago and broke a cam follower 2 races after that. I went through the whole cleanup process. replced cam carrier and broken followers. Did win the feature at Brewerton speedway last friday night. I want to Make those Toyota's and VW's squeam a little more. I just purchased a set of new pistons from MSS (14/1 domes) to start building another motor but am getting tired of the cam follower issue. Any and all advice would be appreciated.Do you offer "KILLER" cylinder head work?? Claude H.
