ecu upgrade options for NG-900

I just picked up a NG-900 and already I have installed Jak's 3" downpipe, sport exhaust, and an intake. Steering responce is right where it should be due to upgraded front and rear sway bars (btw the 1" rear bar works wonders from genuine saab). The car is now more responsive but not as fast as i would like to see it. I know taht maptun and sqr and a few toher companies have come out with uupgraded ecu's and wa wondering if anyone out there could provide a little insight into which is the best bang for the buck... also i noticed that maptun has up to a stage 6 and was wondering what previous mods would have to be done to pull this off.
Thanks
