I did not take the saab. It made me so sad not to take it. I promise I will make my c900 a bad A$$ track car some day! I will. It is just not there yet. So the R32 was a great stand in. I have only done 6 or 7 weekends but I am well on my way to being an instuctor. They solo me at the begining of every event and they know that my main goal is to instruct. That way I can go for free and if my c900 track monster breaks it will not cost me the $220 for the weekend. I am thinking of selling the SPG and starting with a 900 turbo track car for the $2006 GRM Chalange. I will need a new work truck in about a year (I will get one that can tow) and it is about 14months before the next chalange. So that would work out well. I should also be very close to being a PCA instructor by then. So I would build the car cheap, get a c900 in the magazine and then do some of the more expence upgrades that I have in mind. I would be happy just to build a saab and have it finish the competition. Well time will tell on that.
Kevin Y is doing great things for Saab by taking his car to the import shows. And getting a Saab in GRM and having it do well would be great in the same way. People need to know what great cars we have.
