In Feb 96, I drove through Montana en route to Alberta.

the speed limit was "careful and prudent". Unfortunately I had my Gislaved Nordic Frost tires from Finland....no speed rating so was nervous about going too fast.

Eventually a cop pulled me over after clocking me at 98mph however let me off after a ten minute check and talk...."what type of car is this?"....they said they pull over everyone clocked at over 90 however since

1- my car was in good shape
2- traffic was light
3- road conditions were perfect

only a warning to slow down
