Howdy folks,
I got my hans on a t5 throttle body and brought it to my machine shop which I frequently use for welding aluminum etc. Anyawys they are able to fabricate me a custom aluminum block plate which will enable to me to directly bolt it up to my 2.1 intake.
Only problem I need to sought out know if how to hook the throttle line up becausethe T5 is originally upright and not horizontal like the stock c900 throttle body. SO I need to find a way to reposition the throttle cable to operate with my original set-up.
The T5 is much bigger and Taliferro offers a wonderfull 2.75" elbow which mounts after the throttle body. which will make an easy hook up t my FMIC with a few new bends incorporated.
What do you suggest? Anyone ever done this before? It is so much larger than the stock throttle body I can't even imagine the increase in thottle respinse and the increased amount of air that will be able to flow through my intake etc.
Any suggestions are extremely welcome.
Thansk to everyone in advance.
Please try to hel me work this kink out it could be beneficial to all of ous c900t owners to mae such and large TB work!
