I've been using the standard steel ramps with 2x10 wooden extensions for years. The 2x10 is loosly bolted to the top of the ramp with 5/8" bolts so it can touch down without raising the steel ramp. I'll take pictures and post them tommorrow. My car was lowered by cutting 1 1/2 coils out of each spring, which puts it about an inch and one half lower than the stock height. These ramps also work with my "other car" a Dodge Viper which is notoriously low to the ground as is.
