Rust Repair Help!

All of the recent Craigslist postings of vSaab "rust buffets" has me a little nervous about my own Sonett.
I guess I'm looking for any advice or suggestions on a shop or someone in the CT area who does metal work. Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to do the work myself, I have no welding skills whatsoever (and, of course, no equipment) and I'm also a little nervous about turning my Sonett's chassis into my first foray into learning how to weld...not to mention my own timing issues. I'd be happy to assist someone in a shop or even do the work myself if I had someone showing me what to do...but I can't imagine a shop just giving me that kind of space/help.
Anyway, it has a small case of rust on the driver's side (thanks, primarily to old leaky brake and clutch master cylinders which I have repaired). My fear is that, if left unattended to much longer it could turn very ugly...very quickly. I've hit it with the best that Eastwood has to offer but chemicals aren't a real cure for the problem and I've definitely seen it creep a bit more than I'd like.
Any suggestions?
-Eric
