sonettrunner,
I've also heard of using the German Ford Capri V6 springs when using a better cam. I'm trying to stay within a reasonable budget and hearing about the 1989 or so Bronco 2.9 V6 valves, guides and hardened seats maybe the way I should go. I've got a 2BBL Holly/Webber #6549 and the 2BBL manifold to match up with it. I,ve also lightened the flywheel by 13.1 lbs. (a loss of 2.9 lbs.) and the cam has been ground to the ISKY E-4 profile.
