If in fact there is no leakage visible at any wheel or flex hose or at the master cylinder, and barring the unusual event of a rusted-through hard line, then the m/c is leaking into the booster. Pull it away from the booster and you will see.
Given the extended disuse and fluid condition, it doesn't much matter. Your only safe and reliable option is to rebuild/replace all hydraulic components--m/c, calipers, rear wheel cylinders, flex lines, and (assuming the m/c has leaked into the booster) the booster itself--brake fluid in it will damage it. Hard lines should be flushed and inspected, they can rust from inside or outside. Any piecemeal repair is going to bite you.
I only know 95/96, not Sonett, so I don't know what might be difficult about m/c removal there. It is straightforward on 95/96. Your bleeding experience will be a lot more fun with a pressure bleeder.
