I actually did rather well with the seats with matching a close Naugahyde and a nearly spot on seat fabric. But now that I'm digging for carpet that will replace the original, it's not going so well. Having had one of these cars when it was new, helps me know what I'm looking for. I also have a piece from under the seats, in great shape and color to work with. Even at the upholstery shops, I'm finding unsatisfactory matches at horrendous prices. I did find 2 samples at Home Depot, one too dark, other too light, but the nap and texture is very close and it's very reasonable. I wonder if I bought the darker one, and laid it out in the desert sun for a month or two would it fade into range? Any ideas or other sources?
