Hi all thanks for advice. I can add some more info since the problem started a few weeks ago, , charge lamp with engine running usually is dim but on, then will get brighter or flicker. When it's steady tachometer is steady but reads low. When it flickers tachometer is all over the place. I've ran a shorter wire to ground, no good. I'll try the battery, but I wonder more about the regulator or alternator.
My 9-5 just blew a turbo and gas field, so I can't pull the Sonett apart for a while as I am driving it.
Any more advice gratefully received, else I'll report back soon.
