Big Mistake PLEASE HELP Posted by Michael [Email] (#1365) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Michael) on Sun, 01 Oct 2000 10:15:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I really messed up. I bought new ramps so of course I had to put the car up on them and they worked great. I tickered around with the Sonnet that I was ready to prepare to store. The project that I was almost finished with. The next morning was beautiful so lets take the little squirt to the store. Well it didn't want to start with the nose up in the air. (didn't seem to be getting gas) so I open the door and start to rock the car so it will roll off the ramps. It rolls off the ramp and the door catches the wall of the garage.
Now I have a door that is bent and fiberglass that is cracked and a good idea of how much of an idiot I am.
How can I repair this? The hinges are bent and broken. Are there replacements? Anyone have a drivers side door for a 74 Sonnet? How do you fix fiberglass that is broken? PLEASE HELP I really wanted this car done before winter.
