Well after getting a quote for $1400.00 for the door I decided to try to straighten it myself. Nothing a long one inch pipe and some fiberglass repair kit would fix right? Well the pipe worked in about 2 minutes. $1400.00 humph. After putting the door on I was proud of myself so lets take here for a spin. Now I need HELP again.
The car died. Lost all engine power and shut down. As if I was getting no gas. Thought the guage may be off. Put gas in nothing.
There is a square block with four screws on the passanger side of the carborator. Leaking gas. What is it? do I need to take the carb off? I notice a round device with two small hose that go to the carb. But the Device is attached to the Distributor. What is that? The hoses look like they need to be replaced. What is recommend from the experts on this one.
I know I ask alot. Just when I thought I had this baby done. oh boy
Thanks for the help
Michael
