You have correct cap for Sonett V4 which does not have a remote reservoir.
It does screw on, but they are rather large loose threads and they get corroded and hard to loosen.
Fitting you loosened is a brake line and you need to get it re-secured as you won't have brakes without it.
Often a short wood dowel and small hammer can be used to tap around the perimeter of the reservoir cap to loosen it. After you get it off clean the cap and 'polish' the threads inside cap and on outside of reservoir with a 'scotchbrite' type pad and put some grease or peroleum jelly on threads to avoid future corrosion.
The fitting you loosened - the threads are fine and it has to be properly aligned to get them to restart. Hold brake line above fitting and gently move to align and get threads to restart.
