I'm cobbling together a couple engines in hope that I end up with one good one for this project of mine - I am going to put an electric fuel pump into the system and wondered what others have done with the old fuel pump when they did this. I suppose I could just leave it there disconnected, but I'd prefer to remove it. Taking a look at the pushrod for the pump, it appears that the area is oiled, so one would have to make a blockoff plate for that spot on the engine - correct?
Thanks!
