Was a great time in Hershey with picture perfect weather.

I wanted to congratulate the winners of the most coveted awards.

The Walter Kern Award, sponsored by the New England Sonett Club, went to James Fox and his 1985 900 Rally Car. James is yet another of the really nice people who are fanatical about Saabs. He's also one of the smartest guys out there-- he had the presence of mind to be in the parking lot drinking a beer while his award was announced in the banquet hall...

The Larry "Stroker" Williams award went to Bruce Welch who drove his beautiful 1957 93 all the way down from central Vermont. Many years ago Bruce was one of the first, if not the first person in the US to restore a vintage Saab (1960 93F GT 750) to the highest possible standard. We have all been trying to catch up ever since. Congratulations Bruce.
