Jeez, you'd think that would be easy but it's not. Best I can do is from Haynes for 95 and 96, nothing for 97. 95: light load 24/24; full load 27/30. 96: light load 24/24; full load 27/27. Monte Carlo: light load 21/20; full load 24/24. Don't know why this should be different than 95/96, except a different tire is specified. There's a sticker on the glovebox door of my 95 but it's too worn to read. The Sonett is lighter I guess, so with the same tire sizes as OE (ie 155/15 for 95/96), I'm sure the OE recommendation would not be higher than the above numbers. OTOH it is widely accepted to run a few pounds over mfr recommendation, which for many cars is calculated for maximum comfort; by going up a little you may get a stiffer ride but more precise handling and better fuel economy. However, optimum pressure will depend on your tire size, vehicle load, rubber compound, vehicle use, driving style, road surface, you name it. Me, I just run them 30-32psi and don't worry too much. Excess tread wear in the center says too much pressure; on the edges, too little. If you want to get more involved than this, learn about the term Static Loaded Radius and ask your tire mfr (not the dudes in the tire store, unless they are exceptionally knowledgable) what they recommend for your tire.
