Okay - advice please (and opinions too!). Already have a no rust, beautiful '72 with less than 40K on it, interior restored, exterior almost perfect. Now a '72 (#164) has dropped into my lap. It was salvage sitting in some guy's side yard, not registered since '87, 104K on the odo, complete except for typical rust in floor and trunk. (Everything is there - engine, glass, wheels, even tires - although the interior panels are shot and the exhaust is gone.)
What do I do? I plan to keep the running Sonett and pass it on to my grandkids. So I will eventually need parts, but not for a good long while. I don't have a garage to store the salvage Sonett and I can't keep a non-runnning car in my driveway because of community association rules.
Do I sell to someone willing to restore? Do I just part out myself and build a "garden shed" to hold the parts? Do I move my '91 900 SE Convertible to storage and move the salvage Sonett into the garage hoping I will have time and energy to restore it for my son and daughter's driving pleasure (4 and 6 years from driving age)?
Big Dilemma
